TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Intensive courses content may vary depending on the students need or instructors recommendations.
2. All courses require payment upfront in full before any booking of tests and courses. Payment is through bank payment or by bank transfer.
3. When Paying for an Intensive course the fee includes one Practical Test fee. If a theory test is required then an extra payment of £31 is needed. Any further attempts on the theory test will require an extra £31. If a theory package is required then an extra payment of £7 is required. The theory package lasts for 30 days only. After 30 days there are some free questions availiable but an additional fee of will be required for the full theory package. Any further tests or theory packages that are required must be paid for by the student.
5. Once the course fee is paid, if the student wishes to cancel the course there will be a 25% cancellation fee of the entire course fee excluding the test fees. As long as a minimum of 3 working days is given we can usually refund the test fees. The notice to cancel the course must be sent in writing (recorded post) or by email or by speaking directly to Mr Kevin Haynes. If you are taking build up lessons, then once the build up lessons have commenced and the student wishes to cancel the course then again a 25% cancellation fee is taken. All build up lessons require 72 hours notice to change/rearrange sessions. If build up sessions are cancelled within 72 hours of the build up lesson then the lesson and the lesson fee will be forfieted and the student will be required to pay for an extra build lesson to make up for the missed one. If the required minimum sessions are not completed then the student will be unable to continue with the course and the usual cancellatons fees will apply.
If the instructor decides that you need more sessions then you will be required to take more and you will need to pay for these.
Any cancellation of the intensive course within 7 days of the intensive week/weeks or course commencment will result in a loss of 50% of the remaining lesson fees. This includes all residential courses and Intensive weeks. Once the intensive week has commenced the student will lose 50% of the remaining lessons if they decide to cancel the course. If the student is in the last 72 hours of the course and they decide to cancel then they lose the remaining lesson fees. It is the students responsibility for their driving test that they check to make sure of the test details and times and that they bring their photo card and counterpart license, a valid theory test pass certificate and be able to read a number plate from 67 ft/20.5m with or without corrective lenses. Failure to do so will result in the test not going ahead and a loss of any lesson fees
6. Driving tests are always arranged in advance of the course starting date. If the DSA make any changes to the driving test within the 7 day cancellation notice the course will go ahead and your instructor will do everything possible to arrange another test to be taken as quicky as possible and help to claim any out of pocket expenses from the DSA.
7. Your Instructor reserves the right to rearrange your intensive driving course or lessons and test if unforseen emergencies arise. Your Instructor reserves the right to withhold their training vehicle for the course or driving test if the instructor feels the student is not fit to drive or is not at test standard.
8. All students must agree with all the terms and conditions and sign, date and return a copy of the terms and conditions to Kevin Haynes before bookings of the intensive course or tests and payments are made.
